WE WERE CRT Flooring
Our story began in 1988 in San Antonio, Texas where our founders, Patty and Jay Barton, recognized the challenges homeowners faced in finding reliable, cost-effective flooring solutions. They saw families struggle with overwhelming choices, confusing pricing, and inconsistent quality. Inspired to make a difference, they created CRT Flooring with the goal of streamlining the flooring process experience from selection to installation. The Bartons believed every builder and homeowner deserved great value and that belief continues to motivate us today as Advanced Builder Solutions.

In 2022, we began the next chapter in our success story. In coordination with some very talented business minds, we developed a strategic plan for our next steps as a company. This plan is our roadmap to how we best support builders and homeowners with the cabinet, countertop and flooring solutions they are looking for.
Over the years, we have grown from a single showroom to multiple locations but our core values of reliability, quality and customer service remain steadfast. Welcome to Advanced Builder Solutions.

We believe in giving back to the communities that have supported us. From local charity events to partnerships with non-profits, our commitment to social responsibility goes beyond business.
ADVANCED’s parent company, the Barton Group, joined Lennar to support Helping a Hero, a non-profit organization that provides support for military severely injured personnel. We provided all the floor coverings, installation, and finishings to Lennar for this project. When this special project was completed, Helping a Hero welcomed U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Scott Adams (Ret.), to his brand-new Lennar home.
